Stagnant Dialogue: The Libyan Crisis between escalation and division

Failure of national dialogue and inability to form a national consensus government could worsen the situation in Libya, as each of the two warring parties will only have the option of achieving a decisive military victory against the other. This seems unrealistic given the ongoing fighting over the past year and a half. Accordingly, Libya is likely to be heading into either further on-field escalation, or a de facto division.
