Tacit Admission: Why Political Islamist movements do not explicitly condemn ISIS
Political Islamist movements have varied positions on the war on ISIS. While some jihadist organizations accept this war, the Muslim Brotherhood and a segment of Salafists reject it. The reason, for each one of these movements, has to do with the consequences. It has negative repercussions on the Brotherhood and will, most likely, have a positive impact on the position of the Salafists who are already involved in the political process.
