Cautious Policies: How will Pakistan deal with the repercussions of Iran's nuclear agreement?
Despite the potential gains that Pakistan could attain from signing the nuclear agreement between Iran and the West - including cooperation within the energy field; the transformation of Pakistan into a significant hub for energy transfer from Iran to other countries; and eliminating the possibility of military engagement with Iran, which could have negative impacts on the interests and security of Pakistan - does not negate the existence of tensions in bilateral relations due to Tehran’s accusation of Pakistan supporting terrorist groups like Al-Adl Sunni. This is in addition to the existence of Iranian-Indian cooperation that could represent a threat to the interests of Pakistan.
