Multiple Goals: Restricted Advantages of President Rouhani's Europe Tour
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's Europe tour between January 25 and 28 aimed to achieve several goals. Concluding the huge economic deals was meant to represent his government's achievements in a bid to enhance the chances of the moderate movement in the forthcoming elections, as well as promoting Iran as a powerful regional player in the war against terrorism and regional issues like Lebanon. However, Rouhani’s policies face several hurdles that seem to be too difficult to overcome, and eventually prevent the aforementioned goals from being achieved.
